With available spring ranges from 5-20 PSIG up to 70-150 PSIG, the Marsh Bellofram BelGAS Type R627 relief regulator features an internal valve that provides reliable protection against over pressurization, and in many cases, eliminates the need for an external relief valve. As output pressure builds above the start-to-discharge point, the relief seat disengages from the diaphragm and excess pressure is relieved through the bonnet vent port. As a result, output pressure reduces and returns to initial set point. The relief seat then reseats against the diaphragm.
